원문은 자동 감지하고, 번역 언어를 한두 개 고르면 그대로 유지됩니다. 처음 쓰는 언어쌍에서는 모델 다운로드 버튼이 한 번 표시됩니다(수십 MB, 진행률 표시).Auto-detect the source, choose one or two targets — the choice sticks. A new language pair shows a one-time model download button (tens of MB, with progress).

아니요. 번역은 브라우저 안에서 실행되는 모델이 처리합니다. 확장이 밖으로 보내는 요청은 Lemon Squeezy의 Pro 라이선스 확인 하나뿐이며, 이때도 키와 기기 인스턴스 ID만 전송됩니다.No. Translation happens in a model that runs inside your browser. The only outbound request the extension makes is Pro license verification with Lemon Squeezy, and that sends just the key and a device instance ID.
왜 모델을 내려받으라고 하나요?Why does it ask me to download a model?
Chrome은 사용자의 클릭 안에서만 온디바이스 모델 다운로드를 허용합니다. 그래서 처음 쓰는 언어쌍에서는 진행률 바가 있는 버튼이 표시되고, 한 번 받고 나면 선택만으로 번역됩니다.Chrome only allows on-device model downloads inside a user gesture, so a new language pair shows a button with a progress bar. Once downloaded, selecting text is enough.
Edge에서도 되나요?Does it work in Edge?
네 — Edge 추가 기능 스토어에 등록되어 있습니다. 최신 Edge는 Chrome과 같은 내장 온디바이스 번역 API를 제공하므로 동일하게 동작합니다. API가 없는 구버전 Edge에서는 안내 문구가 표시됩니다.Yes — it's live on the Edge Add-ons store. Recent Edge versions ship the same built-in on-device translation API as Chrome, so it behaves identically. If your Edge is old enough to lack the API, the panel shows a notice instead.

남은 한도만큼 번역하고, 몇 문장이 빠졌는지 알려 줍니다. 한도는 자정에 초기화되며, 같은 선택을 다시 표시하는 것은 두 번 차감되지 않습니다.It translates as much as your remaining quota allows and tells you how many sentences were left out. The quota resets at midnight, and re-rendering the same selection never counts twice.
