Chrome 웹 스토어에서 추가Add from Chrome Web Store chromewebstore.google.com

Edge 추가 기능에서 받기Get from Edge Add-ons microsoftedge.microsoft.com

버튼이 “출시 준비 중”이면 아직 심사 중입니다. 등록되면 이 버튼이 바로 스토어로 연결됩니다. If the buttons say “Coming soon”, the listing is still in review — they link straight to the store once it is live.

2. 첫 사용2. First run

툴바에서 확장 아이콘을 클릭합니다Click the extension icon in the toolbar

사이드 패널이 열립니다. 아이콘이 안 보이면 툴바의 확장(퍼즐) 버튼에서 Snap Translate를 고정하세요. 페이지에서 텍스트를 선택한 뒤 우클릭 → “선택한 텍스트 번역”으로도 열립니다. The side panel opens. If you don't see the icon, pin Snap Translate from the extensions (puzzle) button. You can also select text, right-click, and choose “Translate selected text”.

언어를 골라 둡니다Choose your languages

원문은 “자동 감지”로 두고, 번역 언어를 1~2개 고릅니다. 설정은 저장돼 다음에도 그대로 유지됩니다. Leave the source on “Auto-detect” and pick one or two target languages. The choice is saved for next time.

모델을 한 번 내려받습니다Download the model once

처음 쓰는 언어쌍이면 번역 대신 “○○ 번역 모델 다운로드” 버튼과 진행률 바가 표시됩니다(수십 MB). Chrome이 모델 다운로드를 클릭 안에서만 허용하기 때문입니다 — 한 번 받으면 이후에는 선택만으로 즉시 번역됩니다. A new language pair shows a “Download model” button with a progress bar (tens of MB) instead of a translation — Chrome only allows model downloads inside a click. Once it is there, selecting text is enough.

문장을 드래그합니다Drag-select a sentence

마우스를 놓는 순간 원문과 번역이 패널에 나타납니다. 듣기(🔊)·전체 복사·PDF로 저장은 패널 위쪽에 있습니다. Let go of the mouse and the original and its translation appear. Listening (🔊), “Copy all” and “Save as PDF” sit at the top of the panel.

결제Buy

패널의 “Pro로 업그레이드” → “Pro 구매하기”를 누르면 Lemon Squeezy 결제 페이지가 열립니다. $9.99 1회 결제이며 구독이 아닙니다. “Upgrade to Pro” → “Get Pro” in the panel opens the Lemon Squeezy checkout. It is a one-time $9.99 purchase, not a subscription.

키 입력Paste the key

이메일로 받은 라이선스 키를 같은 자리에 붙여넣고 “활성화”를 누르면 하루 제한이 사라집니다. 기기를 옮길 때는 “이 기기에서 해제”를 먼저 누르세요. Paste the license key from your email and press “Activate” — the daily limit disappears. Moving machines? Press “Deactivate on this device” first.

“이 브라우저에서는 사용할 수 없습니다”가 표시됩니다It says “not available in this browser”

브라우저에 내장 Translator API가 없다는 뜻입니다. Chrome 138 이상인지 확인해 주세요(chrome://settings/help). Edge라면 최신 버전으로 업데이트하면 됩니다 — 최근 Edge에는 같은 API가 들어 있습니다. The browser has no built-in Translator API. Check that you are on Chrome 138 or later (chrome://settings/help). On Edge, updating to a recent version is enough — current Edge ships the same API.

번역 대신 다운로드 버튼만 보입니다I only see a download button

그 언어쌍의 모델이 아직 없습니다. 버튼을 한 번 누르면 진행률이 표시되고, 완료 후 바로 그 텍스트가 번역됩니다. That language pair has no model yet. Click the button once — progress is shown, and the text is translated as soon as it finishes.

선택했는데 패널이 반응하지 않습니다The panel doesn't react to my selection

chrome:// 내부 페이지, 스토어 페이지, PDF 뷰어 등 확장이 접근할 수 없는 화면에서는 선택을 감지할 수 없습니다. 또 입력창(input/textarea) 안의 선택은 잡히지 않는 경우가 있습니다. 일반 웹 페이지에서 다시 시도해 주세요. Selections cannot be read on pages the extension cannot access — chrome:// pages, the store, the PDF viewer. Selections inside input/textarea fields may also be missed. Try a normal web page.

지원되지 않는 언어쌍이라고 나옵니다It says the language pair is unsupported

Chrome 내장 모델이 아직 지원하지 않는 조합입니다. 번역 언어를 바꾸거나, 원문 언어를 자동 감지가 아닌 값으로 직접 지정해 보세요. Chrome's built-in model doesn't cover that combination yet. Try a different target language, or set the source language explicitly instead of auto-detect.

PDF에 저장 버튼을 눌렀는데 파일이 안 생깁니다“Save as PDF” didn't produce a file

인쇄 전용 탭이 열리고 인쇄 대화상자가 뜹니다. 대상(Destination)을 “PDF로 저장”으로 고르면 파일이 만들어집니다. 대화상자를 닫았다면 그 탭의 [인쇄 / PDF로 저장] 버튼으로 다시 열 수 있습니다. A print tab opens with the print dialog. Choose “Save as PDF” as the destination to write the file. If you closed the dialog, use the [Print / Save as PDF] button in that tab.
